Giring Ganesha
Giring Ganesha Giring Ganesha Djumaryo, better known as Giring Ganesha or Giring "Nidji" for his role in the band Nidji, is an Indonesian vocalist. Giring was born with the full name Giring Ganesha Djumaryo in Jakarta on 14 July 1983. His father's name was Djumaryo Imam Muhni. Giring became interested in Britpop when he was in school. In 2002, Giring became a founding member of the band Nidji together with Muhammad Ramadista Akbar (Rama), Ariel, Muhammad Andro Regantoro (Andro), and Muhammad Adri Prakarsa (Adri). They released their 1st album, Breakthru', in 2006. Their 2nd album, Top Up, followed in 2007. In 2008, Giring and his bandmates wrote "Laskar Pelangi", the title track for the film of the same name, while in Makassar for a concert.
