Terbuka University (Universitas Terbuka)
Terbuka University Open University is a state university, the 45th in Indonesia, inaugurated on September 4, 1984. UT has more than 100,000 students, throughout Indonesia. According to a distance education institution in the UK, UT, including one from "The Top Ten Mega Universities" UT-3 ranks after similar universities in China and Turkey. For Indonesia, UT is an education breakthrough, because its presence has made it possible to accommodate all high school/vocational school graduates, regardless of age or location.
