Kuningan Regency Kuningan Regency is a regency of West Java, Indonesia. Kuningan is its capital. Kuningan is located in the east of the province. Kuningan is locally believed the name to have come from the Malay word kuning meaning yellow. Alternate the name proliferate: from the Malay or Sundanese word kuningan, a kind of metal.
