PSMS Medan
PSMS Medan Persatuan Sepakbola Medan dan Sekitarnya, commonly referred to as PSMS Medan or simply as PSMS, are an Indonesian football club based in Medan, Indonesia. It is one of Indonesia's most successful clubs. PSMS Medan are currently divided into two teams, each plays in the Indonesia Super League (ISL) and Indonesian Premier League (IPL). In March 1950, the Dutch military left Medan. Football organizations of the State of East Sumatra during the Dutch population, Medan en Omstreken Voetbal Bond and Oost Sumatra Voettbal Bond (OSVB), which had been founded since the early 1930s and then in 1950 changed their name to the Persatuan Sepakbola Medan dan Sekitarnya or were shortened to PSMS.
