Raja Haji Fisabilillah, a Bugis warrior
Raja Haji Fisabilillah Raja Haji Fisabilillah (1727â€"1784) was a Bugis warrior, and also the Yang Dipertuan Muda (Crown Prince) of the Johor Sultanate from 1777 to 1784. Born in Ulusungai, Riau in 1727, he was a younger brother of Raja Lumu and his grandchild, Raja Haji Alli Arji bin Raja Haji Ahmad bin Raja Haji Fisabilillah would be later became a renowned historian, poet, and scholar. He was killed in 1784, during an raid led by him. Previously, he also led a raid on a Dutch fortress, however the raid ended in defeat. His death occurred at Teluk Ketapang, and the incident has infuriated his nephew, Raja Ibrahim, as it has caused Selangor to be involved non-directly in the war between the Dutch and Johor. He was later buried at Sakti, Riau.
